This video is all about using analytics and reporting tools within MEDIAL and your Learning Management System (LMS). It's designed to give administrators a clear picture of content usage across the entire media library and show teachers how students are engaging with videos.
Understanding Administrator Analytics
For administrators, MEDIAL offers a straightforward way to see, report on, and download analytics for all content. This means you can get a good look at how your media library is being used. There's also a handy extract feature. This lets you pull specific statistics about your video content directly from the database tables. It’s a great way to get detailed insights into what’s working and what’s not.
Teacher Insights into Student Engagement
Teachers can also get a lot out of these tools within the LMS. You can easily check out analytics for your own videos. This includes looking at engagement over time, which helps you understand how much of a video students are actually watching. You can also see individual student engagement, so you know who's interacting with the content and how.
Key Takeaways
Admin Access: Administrators can view, report, and download analytics for the entire media library.
Data Extraction: Admins have a feature to extract specific stats on video content from database tables.
